Route from Colombo
To reach Senanayake Samudraya from Colombo, start by taking a bus from the Bastian Mawatha Bus Stand in Pettah. Board Bus Route 98, which services Pottuvil, Akkaraipaththu, and Panama. The journey covers approximately 340 km and usually takes around 8 to 10 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Inginiyagala. From the bus stop, the reservoir is about 3 km away, and you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to reach the lake.
